1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
He’s currently a full time XXXX freelancer and he has worked with some AI startups based in Singapore, and some outside Singapore. He started off as a Senior Sales Representative for XXXX in Singapore where he sold corporate solutions by consultative selling and also was a Strategic Business Development Representative for XXXX where he led client acquisition targets for enterprise technology solutions in APAC. For the past few years, he has been working as an Independent Contractor/Freelancer and has worked on a commission-based product with go-to market strategy, it’s an HR AI tech product which does screening or acquiring of candidate information using AI. He also worked with a SaaS tool previously for ships and maritime business where he did lead generation and cold-calling using different tools.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
Strongest skill would be building up relationship with potential prospects, understanding their pain points, and making them voluntarily accept the product he’s selling. He also doesn’t usually let cold calls or cold leads remain cold for a long time, he ensures they become warm as possible and will be a deal that can be close if not that time, then in a few weeks or months.
3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements?
He has about 13 years of experience in doing sales, mostly B2B and has been exposed to different industries including maritime, HR, and pharma; doesn’t have direct experience with the medical or insurance field but is willing to try if the position is offered. One of his core skills and area would be AI and tech since he has sold related products in the past.
