1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
He graduated with a degree in Computer Engineering and started his career with Java programming, doing both frontend and backend web, mobile application using Java. After several years in development, he started working as a Project Manager for different corporations mostly in the banking and insurance businesses, starting with XXXX where he was involved with leading parties in creating the draft of requirements, approving solutions and project plan as well. Worked as a Project Manager for different other companies including Muang XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, and then went back to Software Engineering with a startup company for about 2 years and also did Software Engineering and Project Management for XXXX where he did web application projects again, provided software solutions and support to presales team. Two of his latest roles was a Project Manager for XXXX and Retail Automation Specialist for XXXX where he was doing project management and operation management, mostly supporting operation issue, handled vendor for operation support and coordinated with regional teams in implementing new projects. He was involved there with several projects such as new POS software implementation where he set up the test, rollout to every gas station in Thailand, and also did EDC terminal software update and new model change throughout the country. On top of that, he also did a mobile application for a loyalty program, he was the one to support and test that one as well. During his last months, there were lots of ad hoc requests including weekends and had to standby most of the time as well so he decided to look for other opportunities.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
Strongest skill would be learning new technologies essential to the projects and jobs he’s working on. He is very keen in learning and has access to online courses for every popular technology that he wants to stay updated with, which he uses to solve problems and provide solutions. His career is more focused into project management recently but if there are any need for him to code and be involved with the development, he can be hands-on as well.
