1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
He has around 16 years of experience in software development and is currently a Senior Software Engineering Manager for XXXX; he has a team of around 25 people including architect, backend engineers, data engineers, DevOps, QA, and UI engineers, also have 3 engineering managers under him. They are currently building a SaaS product focusing on data analytics and he’s the one taking the product requirements from product management, do research and development before releasing them to the customers. Before this, he was with XXXX as a Software Engineering Manager where he again handled several teams managing different projects and before this, was with XXXX as a Software Engineering Manager II where he handled about 2 teams working on ADC and ADM as a Service, both hosted in AWS. He has about 8 years of experience doing leadership and managerial roles and so far has led a team of 14-40 people as a manager. He started off as a Software Engineer for XXXX where he developed agents for reporting and monitoring of infrastructure devices and components such as AIX, Solaris, Linux, Windows, and others.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
Strongest skill would be working on the data analytics, AI & ML side since he has been doing this for the last 2 years. He is also good in building data-related products and is proficient with all data analytics tools such as Spark, Hadoop, and all the other big data technologies including Airflow, Snowflake, EMR, Red Shift, as well as cloud technologies.
