1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
She has 17-18 years of experience in project management and, administration, PMO, and facilitation management, mainly within the telecom domain. She has done her Master’s Degree in Project Management, Certified PMO Professional, and some other qualifications as well. Currently, she’s working with XXXX as the Head of PMO in the Project Management Department, where she’s looking after UK, Dubai, KSA, and even Pakistan projects. She has about 65 people in her team now and she’s responsible for managing those teams; she is the one assigning them tasks, resolve all the escalations coming from the management, operations, and even from the clients. Right now, they are running about 45+ projects in the UAE so she assigns every person to the project, check their daily activity, and provide any support that the team needs for the projects; also manage the P&L, costing, and so on. Apart from managing the people, she is also the one reporting on a daily basis to the higher management, raise the issues they are facing, discuss corrective actions, and such. Her team is composed of different people such as documentation, PMOs, invoicing, and they’re all reporting to her; she in turn, is reporting directly to their CEO.
Before that, she worked with XXXX where she spent more than 12 years with them as a Vice General Manager under the Project Management Department; during her time there, she was responsible for handling projects, operations, and facilitations.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
Strongest skill would be being a people-focused leader and an operational leader since she’s really good in managing people, communicating with people, and bringing solutions to their problems. When it comes to domain, she’s good with telecom, solar, civil projects, and more. She’s good with building a team, planning with them, and executing as well.
