1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
She did her Master’s in Computer Applications and has overall 12 years of experience in the IT industry, with 4+ years being spent in DevOps area. Some of her tech stack includes Linux, Git, GitHub, Maven, and more; in terms of cloud technologies, she’s into EC2, S3, and EBS. Her last role was with XXXX as a DevOps/Cloud Engineer where she worked with an Australian-New Zealand banking services; their main purpose of the project is to secure bank customers, debiting credit cards from unauthorized and suspicious transactions. In that project, they had several modules such as personal banking, personal loans, home loans, business plan solutions, home internal banking, and debit/credit cards. Some of the tools they used includes Maven, Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and some AWS as well. Before this, she was working within the same company but for a healthcare client as again a DevOps Engineer. She started her career as a Software QA and Testing Engineer.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
Strongest skills would be DevOps since she has been doing that for almost 5 years now. She’s proficient with lots of tools and technologies such as Jenkins, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and others relevant to the projects she’s involved with. Rates herself about 3.5 to 4 out of 5 when it comes to DevOps in general including her knowledge, skills, and experiences.
3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements?
She has almost 5 years of DevOps hands-on experience now and has Master of Computer Applications as well. She is confident to work with a military-related program, and is keen to be involved within telecom and defense sector if ever. Has built systems from the ground up and can leverage that for her next job as well.
