1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
He has over 10 years of experience with IT Support Engineering L1+. He first joined XXXX as a Help Desk Engineer, it is one of the big IT solution provider in Middle East, they have worked for different companies like cloud outsourcing, banks, and such. He was part of the team that sets up all the PCs, equipment, all printers, and other devices; he was also familiar with domain setup, printers, Wi-Fi setup, and day-to-day issues that their clients are facing. They are mostly doing remote support for GCC countries as well plus Jordan, Egypt, and Morocco. After that, he joined XXXX as a Help Desk Assistant Manager where he is managing the internet, IT, all the business account, and the company assets/users assets as well. He is involved with negotiating with vendors in terms of their new equipment purchase or license renewals.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
Strongest skill would be his end-user support or help desk support since he has been doing this for about 10+ years now in different kind of setup/domain. On the other hand, one of his weaker points is networking although he is now working on it and is currently preparing for his CCNA certifications.
3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements?
Has 10+ years of IT support and help desk experience, strongest with troubleshooting and can rate himself a 4.5 out of 5 in that area in general. He is working on his networking skills now, he knows the basics such as layers, IPs, and is learning the more advanced ones now. He is also okay to work in Dubai or any other region in UAE.
