1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
He is currently with XXXX as a Business Development Manager; he started in this company for the first three years in India and for the last four years, he has been working in Dubai. His expertise is in business development management so he’s the one responsible for developing their businesses on every part. Their company provides AI solutions and marketing services for different business organizations in Dubai and globally and his daily activity includes connecting with clients, working with the CRM, function as a sales-closing and lead generation person, and apart from these, he’s the one collecting fresh leads from all the open sources available in the market and do cold calls, referrals, and follow-ups with the people he’s already connected with, and close sales eventually. Most of his portfolio consists of entertainment industry and marketing companies, and also provides complete AI solutions for different businesses; most of them coming from Dubai and GCC countries (Qatar, Bahrain), then from Canada, Malaysia, and other APAC regions, also European ones.
Right now, they have about 10 people in the team and he’s the one responsible for splitting the work between all of them, mostly based in the UAE; they also have about 15 people sitting in India region. He reports directly to the Manager of the Operations, also based in the UAE.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
Strongest skill would be listening to people/customers, engaging with them, and creating curiosity between them so the clients go back to him and use his service/product; he basically sells himself to his clients, not just his products. Strong consultative selling skills and converting those leads to money for the business.
3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements?
He has 5-6+ years of experience in B2B sales, mainly uses LinkedIn to reach out to their clients and build connections. Has sold AI-related products such as subtitle/caption generator for an entertainment company and other SaaS products like a Google Review Automation for a marketing company. Strong communication skills and has been using different CRM platforms and pipeline management tools including ClickUp, WhatsApp, mail looping, and so on. He has worked personally with a lot of startups as a Business Development Manager and his current company also has emerged from being a startup so he knows the culture, difficulties, and environment.
