1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
She has about 15 years of experience now and started her career in Iran; her background is totally finance management, tax, P&L, and tax office reporting. Then she moved to Armenia and got an offer with XXXX as a project Manager for a PSP where she worked on a voucher/money payment method which she led from the very first step. After that, she became the AML and Finance Manager for the same company then became the Registered Director for XXXX, which would be the beginning of her career in the Forex market. She got the Director position due to her Finance background and was responsible for all branch management, reporting, as well as governance and compliance.
After some time, she got a job offer from Cyprus with XXXX and moved there as the Chief of Business Development Manager where she was really successful for three consecutive years; she was able to multiply their revenue up to 8x within the region, had 500+ IBs active every month, and then she went on to handle the MENA region from scratch. She started to hire that time and got accepted as the Board of the company as well; as a Member of the Board, she served as an Internal Advisor from the strategic side because of her financial background. Also, she was doing some consultations due to her rich knowledge of the region. She eventually opened up another branch in Armenia which has 60 people as of now, holds six entities, and more; she was in the board to understand the P&L, budgeting, and so on. In Alpari, she was reporting directly to the Group CEO while working on business analysis based on PowerBIs, KPIs, sales, marketing, and others. She is now with XXXX as the Director for MENA and she also suggested to enter India so they built it from the group up.
She is generally good in building something from scratch, has great communication skills, proficient in closing deals, negotiations, and leading teams such as business analysis, planning, and more. She has a track record of success in MENA and emerging markets, has a long history in Armenia and Gulf Coast, and is now looking to move forward within the APAC markets since she has the connections already there.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
Strongest skill would be analyzing the business regardless of industry since she has great exposure with financial statements and market knowledge. Apart from that, she has great communication skills and negotiation skills that she leverages when talking to partners. Apart from that, she has strong financial background, she always get her hands on the budgeting, P&L, and planning; even as a director, one of their shareholders see her presence as exception as not most directors has deep knowledge for financial modeling and financial statements.
