1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
He is currently working with XXXX for nearly two years now; he started with them as a Channel Account Manager then later on transitioned into a Presales Engineer. His responsibilities here start when they land an opportunity with the sales team, he then takes over the technical aspects of that opportunity together with the sales team, channel team, and then involved in implementation as well; impressing the customer with the technical aspects of their solutions. He is exposed in both sales side and the technical side, he takes care of the ASPs, and all support-related tasks such as escalations and resolution; he’s hunting down new opportunities for them as well, do partner meetings, and would do upselling as well at times. They offer high-end data center solutions such as storage as their key offering; that includes EverPure, Hitachi, NetApp, other solutions in Lenovo, Cohesity, ExaGrid, and other SaaS products.
Before this, he was a Cloud Architect for XXXX, which is a software company, and started off with XXXX in same role where he was also involved on the channel management and a bit of presales.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
Strongest skill would be maintaining relationship with partners; he has built very good rapport with partners and is proficient on the technical aspect as well. Recently, they have closed a deal worth nearly 500K-600K USD; also able to achieve his individual targets and was able to do over 2M USD because of his combined technical and sales expertise.
3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements?
He has been doing B2B sales for 2+ years now and started his career as an architect, learning the ropes of the technical side of things at the same time. Most of the products/solutions he has worked with includes storage, software, SaaS, and some of them has AI portfolio/solutions as well. Can do consultative selling and is familiar with lots of CRM platforms.
