1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
She has about 8 years of experience in project management and is currently with XXXX as a Project & Programme Manager, focused with consultancy capacity and supporting delivery of S/4HANA projects. A lot of her background in project management has been around tech, IT, and implementation of different system solutions. She has a variety of experience in different sectors as well including the public sector, financial services, and tech; majority of her positions has always been in IT and delivery of SaaS solutions. Her main responsibilities here would be tracking of projects since she’s currently leading about 3 projects at the moment; on a daily basis, she’s just keeping on top of their projects, following up with key stakeholders on actions that have been assigned to them, ensuring they are in line with the plan, and be able to manage deviations ahead of time. Outside of that, she is also involved in regular project meetings, user acceptance testing, and coordination of software development updates onto S/4HANA and just the management of their feature request process.
Prior to this, she worked with XXXX as a Project Manager and her main responsibility there was focused on the delivery of tech systems, mostly supporting traders of the company, making sure they stay compliant with FCA regulations. She also was a Project Manager for XXXX where it was more of a client-facing role, ensuring successful delivery of their solutions which was GEMS (Global Management Services) platform. In summary, bulk of her experience comes from the delivery of tech solutions.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
Strongest skill would be communication with clients and just ensuring that she is building a strong relationship with them. She considers it as one of the core aspects of project management, also ensuring that all things are going according to the plan created. Also, she’s good handling deviations, communicating it effectively with the client and project team, as well as senior stakeholders.
One of her biggest achievements is in her current role; when she onboarded them, they don’t have a streamlined feature requests and bug process, so herself and her team worked on that over the last few years to ensure that bugs and requests are being picked up and worked on, on time.
