He started his career over 20 years ago in Egypt then eventually built his own mobile commerce startup, built XXXX as the CEO and Founder, then went back to do his master’s degree. After that, he started his product management experience where he joined XXXX and worked on e-learning platforms, went to XXXX as well where he worked on Machine Learning initiatives to enhance XXXX cloud and storage support operations. He also worked with XXXX previously as a Product Manager where he was working on commercial and consumer banking, then wanted to work more on payments and blockchain products so he moved to XXXX where he built and led a team of PMs for AR and B2B payments to Europe and UK, he also led the global expansion for that company. He also had an opportunity to work on a project in Vietnam for a blockchain-based rewards and loyalty program, kind of like a super app for payments wallet, and loyalty for the biggest Vietnamese airline. Due to family reasons, he had to go back to XXXX where he is again doing product management for next gen Bank Core Systems, drove a hike in primary banking relationships by leading cross-team collaborations and launching innovative digital banking experiences that is aligned with customer needs.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
Strongest skill would be design strategy and discovering/solving the user problems using iterative designs. He is also strong with defining roadmaps, building roadmaps, and putting the strategy for a product. He can still do daily operations and all but he’s better in product management and design strategies. Industry wise, he has been into different fintech stuff such as banking, blockchain, payments, loyalty, but would prefer working on a business or consumer-facing product.
