1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
He is an Enterprise Applications Leader into Digital Transformation for the last 20+ years; he worked with a lot of industries including manufacturing, chemicals, finance, banking, and so on. His core experience is leading large-scale applications, SAP, non-SAP, Microsoft, and different types of technologies for transformation; he also have led global teams, built global operating models, and ensured that technology and investments deliver measurable value for the business.
In his current role, he is leading the digital transformation and PMO for the whole Americas as a Director, including SAP modernization, enterprise applications, and also takes care of the whole vendor governance, working with different vendors for IT services: TCS, Infosys, Accenture, etc. They also build technology roadmaps with business stakeholders in-house, managing at least 25M USD of annual budget right now, including CapEx and OpEx. The two immediate projects he is involved with right now would be use cases for AI and ERP modernization; he worked on both of these projects from strategy to execution, building the business cases, getting them approved, and building the whole framework. One of them is about to complete at the end of Q3 this year and the one is still going to continue until next year; the ERP modernization is specifically SAP house where they are trying to do migration of the 20 years old SAP ERP system into latest and greatest modernized ways of working.
Across his career, he has generated a very good value across multiple big, large-scale enterprises level initiatives. Also, he has led multinational teams up to 130-150 people directly and indirectly reporting to him in different layers. Before this, he worked in Canada for 10 years, was in the UK for a year, and was in India prior to that. He started his career as a Core Developer, knowing different coding languages and heavy coding on technology platforms then transitioned himself into Solution Architect roles, Solution Specialist, was also in SAP Sales too, then did actual consulting work in ERP Systems; he also joined XXXX as a Chief Technology Architect before joining XXXX for the last 10 years.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
Strongest skill would be building the technical capability since he has been doing this for the past 15-20 years; he’s strong with executive and senior leadership balancing it with his backbone of technology, understanding technicalities between all IT systems. He has seen both sides of the world in terms of technical and business side, since he have also worked in consulting and now working for the clients under their company.
Right now, he has 12 direct reports, different types of leaders and managers, technical folks, scattered across the US, Canada, Europe, and India.
