He is a Senior Electronics Design Engineer with over 9 years of hands-on experience designing complex, high-end audio systems from initial concept through to full production. In his current role within a cross-functional R&D team, he works at the heart of hardware innovation, collaborating closely with embedded software engineers, mechanical designers, and test teams to design the electronic architecture for world-class streaming systems and active speakers. He owns the end-to-end design lifecycle, including circuit simulation, prototyping, PCB layout, pre-scanning for EMC compliance, and managing supplier/ODM relationships to ensure a smooth transition to manufacturing. He is an expert ECAD user (primarily Altium) skilled in analogue, power, and flexible printed circuit (FPC) interconnection layouts, ensuring high-speed signals maintain absolute signal integrity in noise-sensitive audio environments. Beyond core circuit design, he is a specialist in EMC/ESD Compliance and Design for Manufacturability (DFM/DFS). He excels at bench testing and prototyping using advanced lab tools like modern oscilloscopes and logic analyzers in close collaboration with firmware teams. His comprehensive understanding of global safety standards, RF integration (Bluetooth/Wi-Fi), and custom component sourcing allows him to co-design effectively with external ODMs, RF consultants, and PCB manufacturers while maintaining strict production timelines.
