He has more than 28 years’ experience, primarily in the financial, manufacturing and distribution sectors, providing consultancy, guiding business, managing teams, developing business, and providing thought-leadership. Currently, he is working as an OT Security Consultant (Director) at XXXX, where he currently leads high-stakes security assessments and privacy strategies for major telecommunications and mobility platforms. He orchestrated the security and risk assessment for the LG Uplus Data Center, serving as a critical reviewer for CSAP (Cloud Security Assurance Program) certification. And served as Project Manager for TMAP Privacy Consulting, designing a comprehensive Security Master Plan and privacy strategy for one of the region’s largest mobility ecosystems. He served as a strategic advisor for industrial conglomerates, bridging the gap between traditional IT and the high-risk world of manufacturing security. He has led the end-to-end security assessment and risk analysis for Doosan Group’s factories, establishing a global governance strategy and master plan. And he designed and architected secure OT networks and application security for Hyundai Mobis, ensuring that manufacturing lines are resilient against sophisticated cyber threats. Before specializing in OT, he built a legendary career in the financial sector, focusing on the rigorous security demands of the banking and finance industry. He is expert in navigating complex regulatory environments, including privacy consulting and the acquisition of international and local security certifications.

2.       What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?  

Strongest skills would be OT/ICS Security and Security Master. He is an expert at securing the air-gapped and semi-connected environments of OT (Operational Technology), ensuring that industrial processes are shielded from disruption while maintaining high availability. His ability to design and architect security networks for large-scale industrial groups (Doosan, Hyundai) makes him a specialist in Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) security. He also designs the Security Master Plan. This involves a 360-degree view of an organization—from governance and privacy to technical implementation and compliance. His methodology is rooted in deep assessment, ensuring that security investments are prioritized based on actual business risk and regulatory pressure.

He is an expert in ISO/IEC 27001/2, ISMS-P, and GRC, having led numerous security implementation projects across the financial, manufacturing, and public sectors.  While he operates at a strategic level, he has detailed knowledge of network devices, log management, and VDI implementation. He is one of the few candidates with formal experience in OT security assessments (LG Uplus Data Center) and Cloud Certification (CSAP) reviews. Moreover, he specializes in setting “Master Plans” and security strategies for Korea’s largest enterprises.
