He is a highly experienced Executive-level Sales and Pre-Sales leader with over 30 years of experience in the IT industry. In his most previous role, he was a Security Domain Pre-Sales at XXXX, where he served as a primary driver for Nokia’s security portfolio across the APJ region, scaling the domain from zero-market awareness to a multi-million Euro powerhouse. He spearheaded a €740k cybersecurity consulting engagement for Korea Telecom (KT) following high-profile breaches, leveraging his expertise to harden Femto cell base station security. And he bridged the gap between R&D, Sales, and Delivery, negotiating business scope and product roadmaps to ensure that Nokia’s solutions met the stringent compliance and audit needs of government and enterprise clients. His long tenure at XXXX provided him with an “Elite Defensive Mindset,” forged in an environment where security requirements were often extreme and non-negotiable. He gained deep-rooted experience in protecting customer business assets through severe security mandates designed to withstand high-level external threats and hackers. Towards the end of his XXXX career, he transitioned into Public Cloud Sales and Pre-Sales, helping local commercial customers navigate the migration from legacy systems to secure cloud environments. And he managed high-value commercial engagements and massive IT outsourcing projects, establishing a reputation for reliability in the Korean local market.

Strongest skills would be in a technical, that would be the OS. He has experience using IBM OS, like mainframe, and Unix—Unix OS—and Windows, Linux. Another one is database management, application development, and IT outsourcing contract management. As a people manager, he has to take care of his people and his customers to attain their goals and the other technical areas are for security products. So, from the technical standpoint, he can say those are his expertise, and the other ones are a communication for the business skills, people management skill, so interpersonal as well.

3.       Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements?

He is a highly experienced Executive-level Sales and Pre-Sales leader with over 30 years of experience in the IT industry. He has a proven track record in “big size deal” cultivation, negotiation, and delivery. He has managed high-level engagements for XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX, making him a master of the corporate sales lifecycle. His experience covers a vast array of security domains, including Data Encryption, WAF, Authentication, PAM, and XDR/EDR/NDR. Moreover, he spent over 21 years at XXXX in roles such as Cloud Client Success Leader and Service Delivery Manager, giving him a deep understanding of how global enterprises consume cloud and managed services. Beyond individual contributions, he has extensive experience in business unit planning, budget management, and aligning local Korean operations with global/AP management directions. And he has led pre-sales for massive infrastructure and security projects, including SK Telecom and various Korean banks (Hanvit, DongHwa).
