1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?  He is currently with XXXX as the Senior Director and Head of Delivery Engineering where they focus on five different practices including automotive, healthcare, connectivity & network, digital & continuity, and such. He is basically overseeing the entire project, managing the teams and department as well in delivering projects including hardware, software, electronics, FPGA, creation of imaging software, testing verification, and wider range of services. Previously, he was with XXXX as the Director and Head of Sales & Customer Success where he worked on managing more than 100 customers and was also involved with inside sales, sales support, customer support, and marketing area. He also was with XXXX prior to that where he worked several roles including Head of Executive Customer Support, R&D Manager, and Care Program Manager as well. He started off as a Software Engineer for Fujitsu before gradually moving up to management and leadership roles. 2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?  Strongest skill would be software engineering since he started with that during the early years of his career; he has sharp development skills and even took up system architect and designer roles. Apart from that, he is good with customer-facing type of roles such as customer support, customer success, sales, and marketing; well-versed with product/project management as well. 3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements? He has strong engineering degree since he took up engineering for his bachelor and master; he also has been involved within engineering projects for more than 10 years, and about a year of experience within the automotive side of things. Apart from that, he has great leadership experience from his previous companies up to his current one where he was the Head of Delivery Engineering working with different domains including automotive, healthcare, and telecoms. He has expertise in both electronics and software engineering as well that he can leverage to his next roles. Strong experience working with Western companies and teams since all of his three companies are based in French, Europe, and England.

1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?  He graduated from XXXX with major in Mechanical Engineering. After that, he joined XXXX where he was mainly in-charge of the electronics controller systems, engine management systems, and such. After that, he moved to XXXX as an Assistant Manager for Electronic Engineering division where he was responsible for electronics and engine management system; at that time, he also started to learn about software development and automotive systems. He also was with XXXX previously as a Project Manager for the Gasoline AE sector where he worked for Toyota’s engine management projects and automotive systems as well. After some time, he moved to XXXX as the Engineering Director where he was responsible for engine management, telematics, and infotainment including audio systems. Afterward, he spent few years in XXXX as a General Manager before moving to XXXX as a CV Business Manager where he was responsible for commercial vehicles business. He also worked with XXXX for more than 5 years where it consist of EMS development, software works, and such. Moving forward, he joined XXXX as a General Manager where he managed the whole business from legal entity operation, sales, and production as well. He also had 2 years of experience with XXXX as the Head of business for Thin Film Automotive and was responsible for P/L of the Japan unit, developed business plans, and establish relationships with automotive OEMs. His last role was with XXXX as the GM of FCS division where he was fully engaged in automotive industry including communicating with lots of different Japanese OEMs, mainly the functional teams, and led the product line sales as well. 2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?  Strongest skill would be his technical skills and knowledge especially within the automotive sector and technologies. Apart from that, he has good knowledge of software development including engine management system, embedded system for microcontrollers, and such. He’s also well-versed with JOEM, OEMs dialect, and understanding of the culture and inner businesses in Japan in general. 3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements? He has a Mechanical Engineering degree during his studies so he can say he’s expert with electronics, software, and mechanical engineering at this point. He also has been in the automotive sector since he started his career of more than 35-40 years now; 20 years of those within the leadership roles and leading cross-functional teams for engineering related projects. Some of the Japanese OEMs he has worked with are Honda, Toyota, and others. He is familiar with how Western companies and teams work since he has been into some for many years already.

1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?  He started his career with a semiconductor company called XXXX where he spent about five years in marketing and field application engineering for microcontrollers in the automotive market. After some time, he moved to another company called XXXX; he spent about 10 years in that company in which 3 years are in the Germany, 3 years in the US, and the rest in Japan. He worked with Japanese OEM projects as a support engineer, when he went back to japan, he was the Head of Compressor Engineering for Japanese OEMs while still collaborating with USA HQ, development center in China, and other regions. For the past 2 years, he moved to XXXX as the Director for Strategic Business Operations where he basically supports their regional head for automotive department; he has supported teams including sales, operation, organization initiatives, and so on. Apart from that, he’s also involved in pricing strategies, collaborating with sales, division, product team, and support senior leadership teams as well. This role is more of an individual role where he only has direct contact with internal teams both locally and globally, but he had direct contact previously with OEMs especially Honda. 2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?  Strongest skill would be his skills and knowledge in engineering especially within electronics; his research theme back in his doctoral degree was Audio Signal processing. And based on that experience, he moved to semiconductor, generic microcontroller, and moved to mechanical components management as well. So, it’s his expertise in the engineering and automotive field. 3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements? All of his educational background from Bachelor’s to Ph.D. are all engineering-related (Information Science, Electrical Engineering) so he has strong background in it. Apart from that, he has more than 10 years of experience leading cross-functional teams in automotive-related projects and initiatives; he has been in the automotive sector since he started his career. Most of the projects he has been involved with are safety-related products, steering and braking applications, HVAC, and such. He also has great experience working with Western companies and teams so would not be a problem if ever.

Previous companies and jobs?  He has been living in Japan for about 16 years now and has experience working with lots of Japanese OEMs; has been in the automotive industry for the whole of his career. He’s currently the Director of Engineering for XXXX where they create products for EVs such as wireless power transfers, and such. Previously, he was with XXXX as an R&D Operations Manager where he was responsible for the team who was developing an ultrasonic sensors system, radar system, and purely ADAS products. He also worked with XXXX as a Senior Manager, Project Management where he supported Honda programs from early development through SOP, he led an 8-member team across Japan and China for that role. Previously to that, he was working with XXXX, both in Japan and France, as a Technical Project Manager mostly for power brake and sensor related programs; he worked there again for Japanese OEMs and had to coordinate with France, Germany, and Japan teams to align. He started off with more technical-related roles including System Engineer for wiper systems at XXXX, Design Engineer for brake systems with XXXX, and VR Department Manager for XXXX. 2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?  Strongest skill would be managing teams, resolving complicated issues, and putting everything back on track if projects are going sideways or at risk. He’s great facing customers to align requirements, expectation, and communication as well; on top of that, he’s good with building relationships with their customers. He also would lean now towards strategical thinking for the companies he will be joining. 3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements? Has 10+ years of experience in leading engineering projects and leading cross-functional teams across hardware, software, system, and validation. He was also the one handling the communication with overseas offices in China, India, and Germany. Most of the projects he has been involved with are wireless power transfers, ADAS, and power braking systems for different OEMs such as Honda, Toyota, Nissan, and such. As a director and leader, he has great skills in budget management, risk mitigation, and financial oversight as well; strong with the Japan market and industry since he has been working there for the past 10+ years.

Previous companies and jobs?  He is working with XXXX currently as a Director for Customer Quality where he’s in charge of the whole Japan region, mostly for automotive and OEM customers; they’re also doing customer and technology support for new business opportunities. He was managing all their customers to high-level escalation issues, communicate with them, build up the management, and value proposition of whole Japan region. He also was a Senior Manager for the same company and again in charge with automotive businesses as well. Before this, he was the director of FA division for XXXX and also was a Manager for XXXX and XXXX, where he was involved with business development for new products and the whole division of machine parts. He also was a Process Engineering Manager for XXXX previously where he was doing process, product engineering, management, and operating management as well. In summary, he has great experience with frontend including business development, marketing, and also backend including process and product management. 2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?  Strongest skill would be his wide experience, not only on the engineering side, but also on the business side. At this point of his career, he can say he already has a great judgment in making strategy, great communication skills with customers, and handling a team in general. 3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements? Has Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Engineering for Electrical/Electricity Engineering. He has more than 10 years of experience being involved in engineering projects within the automotive sector, and at the same time leading cross-functional teams as well. He has great expertise with EE and hardware side of automotive projects, also has worked with different OEMs including Toyota, Honda, and Nissan. He is currently working for a German company and has great experience working with Western companies in general.
