1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current/recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?  He grew up in the UAE and started his career in Shanghai. In Dubai, he transitioned to a new field due to the lack of automotive opportunities and shifted to robotics. His last role was with XXXX, a company focused on humanoid robots with AI-powered conversations and movements. He was involved in deployments, after-sales support, and occasionally pre-sales requirements. His role included meeting with clients, often alongside the sales team, to understand their needs. A key project was with Emirates, where he collaborated with their IT and Innovation Department and managed a deployment at their Expo Innovation Centre. His responsibility was to supply all the necessary documentation for the robots and client requirements. Once the specifications were understood, he coordinated with the R&D team in Shanghai to determine feasibility and timeline. Once the solution was ready, he tested it in China and later deployed and customized it in the UAE, ensuring the robot met the client’s needs. 2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?  He specializes in both Chinese and English languages and has a deep understanding of the local culture, which allows him to bridge cultural gaps effectively. Having spent a long time in the UAE, he has developed a strong awareness of local customs and how to navigate the business environment. This cultural understanding gives him an advantage over others with similar skill sets, as he can work more effectively in cross-cultural settings and engage with clients and colleagues in a way that respects and aligns with the local context. 3. Do you have XXXX (Key Criteria 1)? If so can you tell me more? He has over 5 years of experience in the robotics and technology sector. He completed his education in England, which gave him a solid foundation in both technical and business practices. He is familiar with digital payments and e-wallets, which add value in the technology and financial sectors. Additionally, he holds a PMP certification and is well-versed in project management practices, enabling him to manage projects efficiently, from initiation to completion. His project management expertise ensures that he can handle various stages of a project, including client requirements, R&D discussions, deployment, and final delivery. He is also comfortable speaking both Chinese and English in a professional setting, which enhances his ability to work in diverse environments and communicate effectively across different cultural contexts.

Previous companies and jobs?  He is basically a Co-Founder and CTO of XXXX and XXXX which is a blockchain, artificial intelligence, and software services provider company. He also having the same role of Co-Founder and CTO for XXXX, a UAE-based company. Other than that, he’s a Technology Partner for one notable product based in South Korea, it’s with XXXX where they provided blockchain services from research until development, he’s also part of their architecture team and also provide Web2 and Web3 transitioning platforms for most of their clients. 2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?  Strongest skill would be his blockchain expertise and second to that would be his involved in the AI field for about 2 years now; he has prepared a consensus algorithm which was an AI-based blockchain algorithm so he’s quite familiar in that area. 3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements? Has been in the Web3 space for about 5 years now and also considers himself strongest with AI so he’s good with AI frameworks, has done a bit of image generation work as well in AI. Most of his CTO experiences involved technical work as well aside from management but in the past two roles, he’s mostly focusing on the management side of things; he’s managing the technical side such as their architecture, development, and all. He has great exposure with startups especially being a co-founder, CTO, and even technology partner for them for most of his career.

Previous companies and jobs?  He has about 14 years of experience now in the IT industry, started with software development and also the maintenance side. During the first years of his career, he was mostly a backend developer and very hands on with the development side of things. For the last 8 years, he has been into managing teams as a Team Lead and currently had an opportunity with XXXX as the Head of Engineering where he built teams of the organization from scratch including the engineering department consisting of frontend/backend engineers, mobile app developers, DevOps engineers, QA engineers, and such. On the tech stack side, he has worked on various technologies including Java for most of his career, along with Golang, Python for backend, and on the side of architecture, he’s proficient with product architectures, project cycle definition/prioritization, and just keeping the team involved healthy together as a Team Lead. Most of his experiences are coming from payments and e-commerce industry, has worked with order management systems, card design, and other related products. 2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?  Strongest skill would be working on end-to-end product including managing the team, executing his hands-on experience with the product, defining the product from scratch, and deliver to the organization with best quality; he’s good basically from the first line of code to the mature level of the product up to deployment and maintenance. On top of that, he can also be involved with the recruitment and building up of teams, identifying people with the right skill set, and all.

Previous companies and jobs?  He has around 16 years of experience in software development and is currently a Senior Software Engineering Manager for XXXX; he has a team of around 25 people including architect, backend engineers, data engineers, DevOps, QA, and UI engineers, also have 3 engineering managers under him. They are currently building a SaaS product focusing on data analytics and he’s the one taking the product requirements from product management, do research and development before releasing them to the customers. Before this, he was with XXXX as a Software Engineering Manager where he again handled several teams managing different projects and before this, was with XXXX as a Software Engineering Manager II where he handled about 2 teams working on ADC and ADM as a Service, both hosted in AWS. He has about 8 years of experience doing leadership and managerial roles and so far has led a team of 14-40 people as a manager. He started off as a Software Engineer for XXXX where he developed agents for reporting and monitoring of infrastructure devices and components such as AIX, Solaris, Linux, Windows, and others. 2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?  Strongest skill would be working on the data analytics, AI & ML side since he has been doing this for the last 2 years. He is also good in building data-related products and is proficient with all data analytics tools such as Spark, Hadoop, and all the other big data technologies including Airflow, Snowflake, EMR, Red Shift, as well as cloud technologies.
